But he might do something that all of the “great” QBs in the past could not do...when us a conference championship.

Grothe will always be my goat...bc that was my era.  QF is just special but if barnettt continues to play with a heart of a lion, he might very well be at the top of the list.

Barnett is a 6'5" Grothe imho.

Barnett. He’s better than White and I liked White from the minute I saw him against Houston. Barnett is a pure passer... good enough to have a long career in the NFL. If only our guys could catch his beautiful dimes. We’re leaving points on the board weekly due to poor route running, stone hands, etc.

I understand your sentiment; QF was a GREAT "football player", as a pure quarterback, he was just good; he had a good arm but couldn't make the NFL throws consistently. This is in no way a slight against him, he is arguably the best player in USF history and one of the best people we have had, and that's a rare combination.
