No but just like when an offense subs, the officials can check to make sure there has been an appropriate amount of time for any subs and then start the play.

They don't have to tell what play just the time for them to be on the right side of the ball to see them line up instead of busting their ass to get onside then having to check as the player they are supposed to be lined up on runs past them.

they have to set the ball, make sure line judges and refs are ready and then whistle it in play. more then enough time.

no often they only need to ball marker, the chains are often still getting set the blow the ball in play and they usually doesn't take that much time to set the ball. they only hold up the whistle if the offense subs.

All i'm saying is, if the reason you lost the game was that you couldn't just freely run your up tempo offense? you probably need to do a  better job at game planning. Especially when your offense looks as bad as it did on Monday night. Honestly, his up tempo style cost him points because he didn't give enough time for a review on one of his TD's

Taggarts not a good coach.  He's a good recruiter... not a good coach.  His offense is too gimmicky and now their is sufficient film to get and understanding of what he wants to do.  Also, hard to find a RB who can throw the ball the way Flowers could.

FSU and Taggart will be fine. He will have the same recruiting advantage at FSU over his division that he had at USF. 

The team moved the ball against VTech but it was some serious bad turnovers that screwed them. Stop the turnovers and the game is much closer. The QB and the team need time to master the offense. 

Being rank 19 and losing to rank 20 doesn't mean Taggart is a bad coach. 

The FSU QB did not look that good and VTech contained the edge. If Taggart recruits he will win.

They had plenty of time to review that play.  There was even a false start in there.  Announcers made a statement later in the game that "they said it was clearly not a TD so they didn't review it" .  honestly not sure how it was clear

Neither did I, he always struck me as an excellent recruiter.
