The administration needs to do a better job. Our campaign for the Big12 was great, why aren't we promoting these big games? Opening conference play, ranked team, ability to beat the previous year champs (after what they did to us).

USF admin did a horrible job, alongside alumni.

All right then, let them start doing better today.

Cincinnati game is 3 weeks from today and it's homecoming.  Make students secure their tickets this week and give them a tshirt or some other premium if they actually show up.  Send a substantial ticket offer to all alumni and staff that are not season ticket holders.  Package an early game Lightning ticket with a USF ticket sent to all Ticketmaster account holders that have purchased single game lightning tickets and/or USF tickets in the past.  Let's get Vinik's marketing guys (who I understand we are now paying) to step up.  All of these promotions should be for seats in the visitor side first level where available and the bottom of the second level and they don't have to be club access to not piss off donors.  Get creative to sell/distribute over 40,000 for the next game.  3 weeks is a lifetime to promote an event.  GO BULLS!

EDIT:  Give a free men's and women's basketball ticket for each single football ticket sold.  Just thinking out loud.

I like you "out of the box" thinking. Gotta be proactive.

With all of our reasons being stated, the comparisons to Penn State playing Akron or Gators/FSU playing anyone is weird. You can't compare a team with one generation of fans and no on campus football tradition to those.

A bunch of high school students could do a better job than the USF marketing department does.

And I was just served an ad on TBP for the USF-Temple game.  It never f***ing ends.  I really hope someone is paying attention to our comments.  Sigh.

How can a school as large as ours be so bad at marketing? Can we not find a group of students who can do a better job?

Wow! We lived in Ball Ground for eight years before moving to Hiawassee.

Nice! Hiawassee is a cool area. We almost bought in Ball Ground but found the perfect house in Canton.

If you ever wanna go watch some Bulls football together, let me know.

But how do we get this to USF? Great ideas, just wish someone was listening.
