I agree they do very little to encourage the casual fan to attend games. We need better promotions and incentives

If they don't have the skill set, they need to bring in a consultant to do the job. The way it is right now it's completely ridiculous in reaching out to the fans and alumni. I would also include the alumni association. The same is true for the alumni association. They do very little to support USF sports.  Having a get together or a mixer is simply not enough.

What do you suggest they do?  I'm actually curious.

All the other teams lie about their attendance. I've watched numerous games this season where they say 40k, but it looks more like 20k. Attendance is down everywhere. FSU can't even fill up their stadium

It's the biggest non-secret there is. Athletics attendance is dropping. The media is just selective about who they call out. We've all seen the same thing you speak of. In general a significant percentage shows up late and leaves early to all the teams' venues.

^ This. We went out of our way to destroy any culture and continuity that we had in building a program. We then managed to counteract our meteoric unprecedented 10 year rise in college football with an equally impressive 5 year free fall landing in the worst conference we have been in since our inception, filled our schedule with weekday home games against our joke of a conference breathren, while at the same time restructuring season ticket packages and not offering single game tickets as nationwide sports attendance plummets. I blame the consumer for not buying it .

Their marketing gets an F rating. I agree they need to change things up.

They should have ticket specials, giveaways, promote better on tv and radio, buy tickets in special sections and get a hat/shirt etc, schedule ooc games aginst teams people have actually heard of, post game concert...something. These are just ideas I came up with, but marketing isn't my speciality. I just know the atmosphere we currently have sucks.

I still think priority #1-3 for Harlan have to be

#1 OCS (atmosphere at Ray Jay sucks!!!)

#2 get us out of this 💩 conference

#3 do a much better job of scheduling OOC games. (Why can't we schedule teams people somewhat care about?)
