Mind if I ask what station you were listening to? I hardly ever hear commercials for USF. Our marketing department is so minor leagues it's pathetic.

I was listening to 102.5 The Bone.  I think I have only ever heard one other USF radio commercial so was strange to hear three in such a short period of time and unfortunate that it was obviously an old commercial that should have been updated or at least pulled out of rotation.  It started as general promotion about how we're a big time football program despite only having 20 years of history and ended with the mention of the Illinois game.  I have no knowledge or experience with writing commercials but I assume it wouldn't be that difficult to update the last ten seconds to include the appropriate game.  Again, could be radio station error for all I know but made me shake my head.

^^^ it should be easy for them to change the ending to state the current game. It could have been an error by the radio station, but USF Athletics has a track history of messing things up.

I heard the same ad on 97.1 yesterday.  Kind of a cringing moment while driving saying "really?" out loud to myself.

A bunch of high school students could do a better job than the USF marketing department does.

FSU losing to NC State 27-18 currently. If FSU losses..

a. Will this boost attendance to USF home games from FSU alumni?

b. Will we be ranked above FSU next week?

A- maybe, but not by a lot. 

B- unfortunately they will probably still be ranked ahead of us.

You never know, but I hope you're right. Maybe Florida can lose tonight also and drop out of the top 25.
