it seems like the Big East had 4 simultaneously ranked teams in either 2007 or 2008

The American's 3 this week tie our previous high

....with Memphis among the other teams receiving votes...

Unfortunately this will not last since Memphis and Navy play each other this week . . . Maybe they can tie

Tie not good for us. Navy needs to be undefeated when we play them in ccg, hopefully not jumping is in the polls getting there.

I wouldn't mind them jumping us, as long as we get to play them in the CCG. They could rank them #1 in the Nation for all I care. All the better for us when we beat them.

Good point, hadn't thought of that. Hope we stay 1 position ahead then.

In any event, beating a highly ranked UCF to finish the season should get us ranked higher and secure the home field.

We had four ranked in the top 25 in 2015 for a week. The problem is that they were all from 21-25 and played each other, so at least one or two of them got knocked out if I recall correctly. I don't think we'll get more than three unless Memphis really flips a switch and Navy finishes the regular season unbeaten.

Navy has to have one conference loss so the CCG would be at RayJay.  Memphis already has a loss and we'll take care of Houston in case one of them wins the west.  I don't want to get into any tiebreakers after head-to-head.

As I understand it, USF would be the host as we would be the highest ranked team.
