One of the biggest factors into the AAC attaining true P6 Status is that it is already a 'power' conference in basketball.  If we can get some consistency in baseball then I think it's only a matter of time until it bleeds into football as well.  If the AAC can get 1 or 2 teams deep into March Madness this year they will be on the tongues of the media year round.

Last year  the AAC was in the top 5 in BASEBALL.

I think that will be the same this year.

I think so too, it needs to be a normal/expected occurrence.  It takes time but I believe baseball is well on its way.

Don't forget, we are already a Power Conference in Womwen's Lacrosse, and haven't even played a single conference game yet. Woohoo!

(and yes, for a change, i am being totally serious. lacrosse is an awesome game)

How can we be a P6 when our SOS is last in FBS? To be a power conference it should mean that we have a respectable SOS due to strength of conference members. That is not the case.

Where do we find a list of conference SOS's?

I don't know about SOS, but the AAC is 30 -6 against the other G5 conferences, over the last three years and three of those losses were by a FG. Listen at the 4:20 mark on Aresco's interview above.

Clealry the AAC has separated itself from those other conferences and I think most people in the sports media recognize that fact.

P6 will help us get the New Years Bowls most of the years. I think we have separated from the rest of the G5 conferences.
