P6 will help us get the New Years Bowls most of the years. I think we have separated from the rest of the G5 conferences.

The problem is that the AAC is more competitive than the rest and that leads to our teams beating up on each other and some other conference champ can jump over us as we have seen in the past.

If you listen to Aresco's interview, he believes the AAC deserves a GUARANTEED place for its champion and think that needs to get fixed.

Great point! Just look at Western Michigan last year.. We probably had a better overall team by the end of the season. This season hopefully we can beat UCF/Memphis and get in the conversation.

I don't know about SOS, but the AAC is 30 -6 against the other G5 conferences, over the last three years and three of those losses were by a FG. Listen at the 4:20 mark on Aresco's interview above.

Clealry the AAC has separated itself from those other conferences and I think most people in the sports media recognize that fact.

Then how does a member of this conference, namely USF, end up with the 4th weakest schedule in the FBS? Our conference is full of weak teams, that is how. If our conference mates really were better teams than the rest of the G5 we would not be near dead last in SOS rank.

How can a conference full of teams so bad that it's members have among the weakest schedules in FBS be a "P6" conference?

It is all about butts in the seats and eyes on the screen.  Nothing else matters.

Do you not pay attention, or just enjoy being antagonistic? What schools canceled on USF this year?

Our conference mates should be strong enough that we at least have a mid-tier schedule without any P5 teams.

I would say the same bias that plays against us plays against them as well. There are no real "bad" teams. Just incomplete teams. UCiF last year was bad. Usf being holtzed was bad. FSU and UF are bad. Our bottom teams would still give them fits.

Well someone in conference is strong enough to give the AAC this ranking:

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
