Does this open a spot for TJ Weist?  Has he landed anywhere yet?

Yeah I still feel bad for TJ. So far he has nothing.

You'll need to redo your math, cause about a 1/3 of DUIs are repeat offenders, and of those a lot aren't just on their 2nd.

That really defies statistics given that arrests are way way higher than deaths. I would guess you know a lot of people charged with a DUI, you just don't know about them.

I'd trust this guy, just because of his username.

A first time DUI in Florida can get you a felony conviction if you seriously hurt someone...get you maybe 5 years in state prison too.  Driving and drinking is never smart.  4 regular DUI's total just getting caught driving and drinking will get you a felony tag too....deservedly!

Taggart has a crap show on his hands.

Wonder if Reaves would have been arrested if he was pulled over in Tampa? The Taggart hire has quickly become quite problematic for the image of Oregon Football and Nike U. I wish him well but alumni and administration will not cut him any slack now. I would think he's in a zero tolerance situation right now, one more F-Up in the near term and he's toast.

Of course he would have.  Tampa PD takes DUI very seriously.

What city does he think this is? Tallahassee?

Mathies definitely was when he was pulled over so I would think the answer is yes.

Hillsborough County has more DUI arrests per capita, with its various law enforcement agencies (Sheriff, TPD, TTPD, and PCPD), than any other county in the state. We best Miami-Dade.
