David should count his lucky stars that a cop stopped him before David got in an accident and hurt himself in a wreck or killed someone else and ended up in prison for years.  The DUI charge might be a blessing for Reaves and not a bad thing.  Costly mistake for him, but things could have ended up a lot worse that morning.

If you're arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol... you've got a drinking problem. Getting A DUI charge isn't the same as getting a birthday cake.

Getting arrested for DUI is hugely irresponsible, but my opinion remains that being arrested for DUI doesn't necessarily mean that someone is alcoholic or has a drinking problem.

I agree with PeT.  It's not necessarily a drinking problem, but it IS a decision-making problem.  

I'll also echo that there's really no excuse for getting a DUI with Uber/Lyft and cabs, or one of the options, just about anywhere now.

Driving under the influence of alcohol is a problem that was caused by drinking. If it happens routinely it could indicate you can't control your alcoholic drinking and possibly have a drinking problem.

This is also considered a drinking problem ...
