But his stock is still pretty young and unless they got him at a significant discount, the smart money is on either an internal candidate or the more established name brands for that position. Another year or two of this level of performance and I see him bailing for the quicker path to wealth & retirement. I sincerely hope I'm wrong though.

Also, there's a law in Oregon that all university coaching jobs must interview atleast one minority candidate. Just another thing to consider

Their big money comes from someone who liked to watch speed and earned his billions because of fast athletes. Willie makes since as a coach for Nike's corporate college program. I hope his ties here are strong. Edited December 1, 2016 by BullTiger

Top tier facilities, PAC 12, Phil Knight. I hope he doesn't get offered.

Tyron Wllingham was the last one and he or Randy Shannon has not even come close to a head coaching job since. The Ron Zooks, Butch Davis, Charlie Weis and Muschamp all got 2nd coaching jobs immediately. Hell Charlie Strong has had great success and hasnt even been mentioned 4 any openings. Taggart knows that if it doesnt work out at a p5 school thats it 4 him. USF offers him job security, great recruits, and in 2018-2020 a strength of schedule strong enough to crash the playoffs. He might as well build his legacy at USF like Spurrier of Bowden and have the new stadium named after him after we win back to back titles lol
