This. Do i think Willie would excel @ Oregon if given the chance? Yes, absolutely. But he's not what they're looking for. It's been reported that Phil Knight is willing to go as high as 10 mill a year to lure a big name in. The dude has unlimited money and is getting older. He's 78 and wants to see a National Champ before his time is up. I doubt he sees Willie giving them the best shot to do that.

he doesn't have an offer from oregon.....just because his named was mentioned as a possible candidate doesn't mean anything

No ****.

I was responding to the 5 pages of posts from USF fans saying their coach wasn't good enough for the discussion OR would be better off turning it down.

You think taking a job with an established Big 10 program that has produced QBs such as Drew Brees, Bob Griese and Len Dawson would be yucky?

Uhh, yeah. Why go to a trash program that will never, ever win.

you're right. they won't take the risk. most people are risk averse. they will go with a "name"

BTW 17-4 over last 21 is a proven winner

We won 10 games this year.  Purdue hasn't done that since 1979.

But 1 Big 10 win is equal to 5 AAC wins.

In all seriousness. I don't Oregon is the right place for him. But if takes it I wouldn't blame him.
