I believe Taggart is in over his head and will be fired at the end of the year.  I would love for him to prove me wrong and the run table but I don't see that happening.

He was hired as an offensive guy and that is the one phase of the game that has not produced anything in 28 games.

I don't really see much improvement on offense. I think we saw more flexibility with the offense last year. I only recall 1 read option play tonight. The wide receivers are really not part of the offense. Offense is horrible on 3rd conversions  

 

We have 3 very good running backs, but our lack of anything, but the run between the tackles puts tremendous pressure on them for incredible individual efforts. 

 

Our special teams is a mess every game. Short kickoffs. Poor coverage. Poor tackling. 

 

Defense is improved. Other than that, the best you can say about the offense is we have cut back on the mistakes because of slow play calling. 

I don't see more than 3 wins for the year  not sure where anyone sees improvement beyond defense

I've been following the team since 2009, and started attending in 2012.  

Since 2012, USF is 10-30.  (Think of the seniors) 

Since Taggart has taken over in 2013, USF is 7-21.  Of those 21 losses, 18 have been by 2 possessions OR MORE.  Only one win has been secured by more than one possession (FAMU).  

We're 1-3 this year.  I don't see many more wins on this schedule.  Its actually pretty tough.  We may pull off one good win and who knows we may get lucky and pull off the win against UCF on Thanksgiving.  But this team hasn't given me any reason to hope for more than maybe 2 more wins this year.  We may have played well tonight on defense, but our offense has to be scared.  That may be the weakest defense we face for a while. 

I'd like to hold out hope for a miracle season from here on out, but this team has given me no reason to do so.

What could I offer tonight that anyone watching the game didn't see? We suck. It's actually quite simple. Anything I add to conversation is a bit redundant.

Cwt is a good recruiter and is in over his head as a head coach at usf. He needs to go back down a level or two in competition and I'm sure he will do well again.
