  1. UConn gets us twice a year and we get upity trying to beat them. Seems they don't want any of it this year. Still, I'll take second best team in the conference behind UConn...
  2. It was a slower start than what anyone wanted. But a win is a win! Hope the ladies can pull it off against UConn (I doubt it but miracles happen, right???) This has been a great year for the Women's team.
  3. I think part of it has to do with the fact that SMU was 1-5. We received praise in equal measure with the Mustangs but they received more attention because the program wasn't doing well. You heard announcers doing it with us a lot last couple of years. Its like the announcers are trying to reassure the viewer that the "bad" team isn't as bad as they seem and they have a lot of promise. In addition TV markets are pretty big to play to, and Dallas has a much bigger TV market than we do. All in all I think it was pretty well casted.
  4. If we have improved, some of these Men's matchups promise to be entertaining. I've got my eyes locked on that UConn Women's game though.
  5. At 1-3, this is his biggest game. I don't see too many more wins on the schedule if we keep playing like we have been. He's toast without a quality win this year or a bowl game. If we were 2-2 the game would still be big, but that bowl hope would still be attainable with a loss. Now we need it. Lets see how much he wants it.
  6. No matter how bad we may be. No matter how often we blow halftime leads or get crushed by superior teams under Taggart, I have been steeled to the soul-crushing pain of our losses by watching my Browns lose in every way possible since 1999. Chin up fellows. We still have some pride in old South Florida. (I died a little inside again today)
  7. 15 years, 2 Conference titles and a 140-49 record. In most books that is stellar. But his most recent conference title is 2005, he and his teams have watched as 4 different teams from his conference have gone on to win 7 National Titles in that span, and he loses the games that matter most (as we all saw this weekend). Georgia may be tired of the 10 win ceiling and looking to get someone else. I wonder who that sounds like....
  8. Well we know our defense made adjustments. Clearly that shows something about some of our defensive coaches. The offense however....I'm putting that 100% squarely on the shoulders of CWT. No adjustments. Super conservative game plan. If he hasn't turned his play-calling around in 2 1/3 years, how can i expect this team to get better under him?
  9. Its interesting to hear outside perspective on the program. Thanks!
  10. To continue to go to USF football games?  Or not to continue?  That is the question for the season....

  11. We can beat UConn, SMU, and UCF. But my brain tells me we win one game over an opponent we have no business beating. We drop one or two against that very beatable trio. I'll go with a solid 4-8 as well.
  12. At some point this season I think we drop conventional football and do just this. What have we got to lose? XD
  13. Students might show up next week, but imagine if we lose that one too. Bets for 9,000 or below actual attendance by the end of the year.
