I'll never get why some think we are above accepting transfers from players that spurned us initially.  It happens all the time all over college football.  If AW is willing to swallow his pride and come back here and put in the work and know that he's just competing for a starting job and not having one handed to him, then why not.  I'd much rather have more quality depth at a position that has been an absolute albatross around the programs neck for the past 2 years.

I agree. I think it comes down to one's pride. When I heard the news, which is good news for our program (whether he develops into a starter here or not) I recalled his initial recruitment here and how it was disappointing. He will have a year to learn the playbook and hopefully will give us something to be excited about.

I'd say it's at least a 50-50 chance of their going to have to learn a new playbook for next year. Just based on the past two years.
