We need a law school

FSU would immediately shoot that prospect down

UF/FSU don't want other schools to compete.

They raised a big stink about FIU getting a law program (it took them 15 years of fighting)

That's probably why USF created that 3+3 partnership with Stetson Law

That said, the Legislature has the power to provide "general revenue" funds... it does this from time to time... as it did with some of Doak Campbell and Ben Hill Griffin renovations.  I would not hold my breath on that one.

Which is why we need more Bulls in the legislature. That body is dominated by Seminoles and Gators. Charsibb, we won't be getting a law school any time soon. There are already 12 public and private law schools for the state of Florida. There are far too many attorneys in this state and not enough jobs. We just need some Bulls getting elected into the state legislature stat!

Step 1: Win 6 football games.

Step 2: Win 6 elections.

Step 3: Add Publix to campus.

Step 2: Win 6 elections. X 2 yr terms=12 yrs   or X 4 yr terms=24 yrs?

No idea how you got to that conclusion. This is Victor Christ's project. He was the commissioner defending the OCS idea for USF back in May at the council meeting.

I believe Crist may still be involved somehow but this is Mark Sharpe's baby now ...

I didn't think Sharpe was on the commission anymore.

He's not, but he's now leading the Innovation Alliance which is what that's all about ...

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

    Michael Kelly

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
