Per Creme, our path to the title runs through (assuming no upsets other than by USF):

Little Rock > Duke > Baylor > USCe > ND > UConn

I like our chances in this bracket

I doubt USF would be a 6 seeds. 7 seed seems likely, but don't be surprised if we are an 8 or a 9.

Remember name recognition is a sonofa

We are in the top 25 again in the AP poll sitting at #25!

Hopefully if we do get the 7th seed we get to host otherwise our path might be difficult especially if we have to go to tally and play FSU. Now if the 3 seed is Iowa than it might not be so bad since Iowa is a much easier matchup than FSU. I'm just hoping to avoid the 8/9 since that would force us to go through with Maryland, UCONN, SC, or ND at their place. I've heard we a projected as a 6 or 7 maybe even as high as a 5 but that is unlikely. Hopefully the #25 ranking helps the seeding

Not that there will any correlation, it's interesting to note that in the men's tournament, #25 Boise State is in a Play-In game and #24 Davidson is a #10 seed.

It's the new math?

#25 is the same as 65 to 68

#24 is the same as 41 to 44

wow.

Boise is a play in for a 11 seed not a 16. Also SMU was ranked last year and didn't even make the tourney. The committees doesn't  care about AP rankings.

That's great. Based on rankings then, we should be the highest 7 seed selected.

This is an awesome discussion for a change. We're ranked at the end of a season and discussing what seed we'll get (not IF we're in) in the tourney. Go Bulls!

Act like you’ve been there before. Turns out, for many of us, we haven’t been there before.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
