Does he coach LBs and is DC? If so what happens to Woodie? Maybe Woodie coaches DBs? Lots of questions. What's Taggart's cell #?

But remember:

We suck, until we don't.

We'll still find a way to suck even after that,

Aaaaah. A heretic of the we are awesome, until we show that we blow camp.

Get thee back Satan

It's more of an amendment. Sort of a newer book of the gospel.

This is a high risk high reward type hire.  there is as big a chance for disastrous failure as there is for wild success here.  Hopefully we finally catch some lightning with this hire.  USF is in need of a positive break at this point.

Needs to be.  This is Taggart's Hail Mary.  Might as well swing for the fences.  It's do or die time.

I think change at this juncture is easy to get excited about. The line above not stating "our dc was good" is reason enough. Its true CCB didn't have a long enough tenure to truly judge him here, but I think it was a good move. He made some horrible decisions last year for a guy with so much experience.

I called it and some chick named Jenny answered and said you've reached the team. Said Tags was out shopping for new shirts for the 2015 bulls.

We were not in a position to hire a proven DC from somewhere else. So we hire the lb coach from one of the best defenses in the NCAA with local ties. After the DC guess who on a coaching staff knows the defense best. Yup, the lb coach. Why? Because lbs are the qb of the defense. If they need to know the whole defense and where everyone is supposed to be, that coach better knkw it better so that he can teach it.

I have no doubt this man knows defense. The only question I have is can he call a college game. On paper this hire is money.

maybe he is here to recruit Armwood High School............

At this point the Big Hire or "Home Run" hire needs to be the O.C! That is the poisition of Greatest need..........

SEC coaches

Ron Cooper had a nice run (2009-2011) as a DBs coach at LSU, and could be argued to be comparable to Tom Allen's SEC experience. Though LB's are quite a deal more important. Wonder if Coop wanted the DC Coord job or maybe CWT thought he might be jumping ship and preempted him.
