I'm getting tired of Taggart running his mouth. "We're not exactly Alabama" now, we're "different" for not having an OCS. Dude, go back to powerhouse WKU if we're so behind in every regard. We'd happily let that happen. Leavitt played up the fact that we're in Ray Jay, at least publicly and to recruits. That's a better approach for a person who has no real say whether we ever make the stadium investment. More winning, less mouth flapping. That's what Taggart needs.

Simple. We park at Raymond James and the Bull Runner takes us to the stadium. *starts slow clap* I officially second the slow clap. Excellent response, UpperHand. UCF's stadium, lousy as it is, has raised their recruiting to exceed USF's. This is the only way to take the program to the next level. RayJay is getting old. Build 40000 seats, open endzones with minimal suites and a large vid screen...everything upgradeable. Rent seat backs like nearly all of the SEC stadiums. Stadium must be on the campus to have real effect on getting alums butts in seats. Totally hogwash. USF had the highest ranked non-P5 recruiting class THIS YEAR! There's more than one P5 school without an OCS. A stadium doesn't make a program great. Matter of fact, most of the crappy, low attendance football programs have an OCS. Guest
Not required, but it is prefered. If it has to be at an angle, the northwest to southeast would be better that the photo above. Yeah... almost are oriented due north south... Jordan Hare (Auburn) has the same orientation as above (SW-NE)... and the old sombrero was as well. This was more for size showing how big a stadium is. Their recruiting still isn't that great and the gains they have made have been from winning consistently. Where they have really excelled is player development.... If you look at the recruiting rankings from last season, you will see that USF had the higher recruiting class than UCF. I will say that UCF getting their OCS has increased their game day atmosphere. Increased their fan base. Increased their winning. Helped turn their program around that was once 0-11 with O'Leary. SO every program in the country with an OCS should be winning then ..... UCF is where they are today because of O'Leary, not the dump they play in. Amidst all the drunken Irish and dead player jokes, people forget, or just don't have a clue, that he was a two time COY in the ACC and a national COY winner before the resume debacle. UCF got a steal ...
