Fulton County Stadium in ATL was horrible for football and not very good for baseball...as that was the case for virtual every round multi-sport stadium like:

Three Rivers (Pittsburgh)

Riverfront Stadium (Cincinnati)

The Vet (Philly)

Shea Stadium (NYC)

Old Busch Stadium (St Louis)

Jack Murphy Stadium (San Diego)

RFK Stadium (DC)

Oakland Coliseum

Memorial Stadium (Baltimore)

Kingdome (Seattle)

Metrodome (Minneapolis)

Heck, Joe Robbie for Baseball? Horrible

Few cities were decades ahead of baseball and football only stadiums like Kansas City (Arrowhead Stadium opened in 1972, Royals Stadium opened in 1973).

Joe Robbie/Sun Life/Dolphins/Land Shark Stadium was awesome for baseball, as there were so few people at the games and so many good seats available for cheap that you would have to be a moron to get stuck in a bad seat.
