Bruce Feldman from CBS is reporting that Skip will accept the La Tech job in the next 2 hours. Timing of firings and no interviews makes sense now.

I sincerely wish him and his staff luck over there.

Don't worry about it. If it were real news, you'd know through other sources (Auman, Johnston, etc.)

Skip Holtz's staff let go. Was told they'd individually interview for their job, but got canned before their interviews took place.

Guys, I am not happy about this. WTF Willie.

The more I think about this the more pissed I am.

My only issue with this is that if they were told they would get an interview and never got it before being let go, thats just not right.....I wish he would have kept KP, great coach with a ton of energy. With that being said, when you're the HC, you want your guys and thats that.

Willie probably knew that Holtz was about to take another head coaching job and that many of the assistants would go there. That's most likely why he made the announcement today instead of next week as expected. I also hoped that KP would remain at USF. He may end up with Holtz.

Probably was done so Holtz could pick some of these guys on his staff. He was hired by la tech today
