  1. It didn't cost us the game, but definitely a momentum changer. Frustrating to see a basic fundamental (ball in the outside hand) not used in that situation. Either way, we need to build on this game and use these 2 weeks to prepare for a hot ECU team. Lets move to 2-0 in conference play.
  2. Best way to help accuracy.... Stop having our QB's take shots as soon as they release the ball. I understand that a QB has to sit in and take shots, but our OL play is not very good. White was hit on the first series (knocked out of game) and after watching the replay of the game, Bench was his on 4 or 5 of his first 6 passes.
  3. This was a bad year with attendance for me, due to having a new baby, but we're in for next year! GO BULLS!
  4. As a coach, you should try to tailor your offense to the kids you have, but without changing your philosophy. He is just stating facts, these kids were recruited to run a completely different offense (IMO, not really sure what offense Skip ran), so it will take some time to either get these guys comfortable and going with this, or recruiting guys that fit this offense. Would it hurt to hear that as a player? Sure, but that shouldn't stop you from working your tail off to help the team win.
  5. I'm late to post our new addition! Unfortunately he's living in a world where USF football has yet to win a game! Hopefully that'll change come Saturday night.
  6. Whats sad is that he has only kicked 12 extra points through 8 games But he is a heck of a kicker!
  7. I'm going to say that there will be ZERO offensive touchdowns in this game, by either team.
  8. 1. Auburn 2. Army (senior year) 3. At my house, in my pool! 4. I'd probably go with Big10, to get more exposure 4. Depends on who's kicking, but sure, why not.
  9. 1. Louisville 2. SMU 3. 70/30, if our QB becomes reliable it'll shirt more to 60/40. 4. Same QB the entire year, unless an injury takes place 5. U of L
  10. Got mine on Tuesday! Had a little chat with my UPS guy. He's hoping that we have a better season this year and also told me that there are a bunch of other season ticket holders that live in my neighborhood, so I was excited to hear about that!
  11. His quarterback from last year, Pete Dinovio, is there. Thats my guess as to why they are on the list.
  12. Based on this article, I don't think anyone in the state has a shot at him. http://www.tampabay.com/hometeam/blog/lakewoods-isaiah-wynn-continues-impressive-offseason-rivals-camp/17056/
  13. Looks like Dayes pulled back his commitment, says he is confused, per his twitter account.
  14. I wouldn't be so worried about whether kids know the name of any alumni on staff..... Its about those guys (Scott, and hopefully MB) giving CWT a little insight to what made our program rise so quickly, and bringing that back, since we clearly lost it with Holtz. I hope that we (former football players) end up having a better relationship with this coaching staff than the last one.
  15. Pulling the ole Billy Donovan move! Extremely disappointed and surprised at this move.......... Maybe we'll go after Callahan next......
  16. My only issue with this is that if they were told they would get an interview and never got it before being let go, thats just not right.....I wish he would have kept KP, great coach with a ton of energy. With that being said, when you're the HC, you want your guys and thats that.
  17. Petrino will only be at WKU for 2-3 years max, and if he were here, the same thing could be said. He's just trying to get back into the SEC....... I'm excited about Taggart!
  18. I'm only for getting rid of Cosh right now. Also, I don't believe in getting rid of a HC midseason. If the administration feels the need to get rid of Skip, wait until the season is over.
  19. I think right now, the only team that these guys could beat, would be my senior team, in 2004. That was a very rough year for us. But I know that no of us walked of the field early!
  20. Let's be honest here.....Do we all really believe that we were the 2nd best team in the country that year? The number 2 spot was held by 7 different teams. Everybody and their brother was losing that year, and we just happened to beat the right teams and move up. I'm won't go as far as to say that 2007 was the worst thing to happen to us, but it certainly has raised our expectations to a level that is truly unrealistic right now. Should we have won the BIG EAST by now, definitely, but a national championship?????? Only if things fell perfectly into place, like in 2007. We are now, 16 years into a program???? I know at some point that can't be a crutch we lean on, but think about all the programs around the country that don't have Conference championships or National Championships that have been around forever........ This is a painful year to watch for sure, but as easy as people say that we could be 1-5 we sure as heck could be 5-1 too. The day that we don't even compete in games on a consistent basis is the day that I become worried about our program........ Look how Auburn is playing right now....... Getting waxed week in and week out........ All we can do is throw our support towards the program and stand behind them.......win or lose........
