Skip Holtz's staff let go. Was told they'd individually interview for their job, but got canned before their interviews took place.

Guys, I am not happy about this. WTF Willie.

The more I think about this the more pissed I am.

My only issue with this is that if they were told they would get an interview and never got it before being let go, thats just not right.....I wish he would have kept KP, great coach with a ton of energy. With that being said, when you're the HC, you want your guys and thats that.

Probably was done so Holtz could pick some of these guys on his staff. He was hired by la tech today

This morning on 98.7 CWT said that he has no timetable for rounding out his staff. Didn't sound promising. Although he did say it "could happen quick," he just doesn't know. Wants to take his time to make the right choices for his players.

Unsoliicited advice to CWT: Randy Shannon is the right choice at DC. No need to wait past next week for that choice!

This could just mean it may take a while for all of the hires. I would hope he'd want OC and DC quickly

I am starting to think that he should hire his OC and DC the first day of the dead period. That would get the recruits talking USF football throughout the no contact period.
