Even if he gets drafted.  It does not guarantee the majors.  Most likely ridiing the bus in tripple  or double A.

He could be playing infront of 40,000 fans in Ramond Jame in 2 years.

Go Bulls

No, but it guarantee's him about $500,000. And if he's a top rounder, which is looking decent right now, 7 figures.

Look at Brandon Weeden, shows that football can always wait.

he's been mentioned as a possible 1st rounder....if he gets selected that high, why wouldn't he go pro?

I have friends who are baseball "mothers".  They have  had up to 4 minor league players in their home (never had children)n.  Some have gone to the majors most do not.  It's not as rosy as people think.  Being traded without notice.. playing florida one week then in Boise the following week. by bus.  Only in the majors do they fly. minimal money.. I have had many a meal with them. I dont have expertise knowledge but these Baseball mothers do.

Yeah, but if you get drafted that high it is multiple millions guaranteed.  Why wouldn't you secure your future at 18 years old?

I agree BUT...just in case he is not drafted as high as he would like--Could he be a prefered walk-on  give him the option coach???

Matter of fact, if you are from manatee high and you have D1 ability, consider yourself offered by USF from this point forward.

If he's a first rounder, he's GONE.  If not, he's going to Mississippi State from everything I've read.  He was just there 2 days ago it seems.

Apparently he has retired from baseball and is available. Ucf just offered him but he says Usf hasn’t contacted him neither has FSU. Uf has him going up to Gainesville but haven’t offered him anything yet.

He isn't looking at G5 schools. Maybe UCF thought their National Championship came with a P5 invite?

Jokes aside I feel like he is going SEC. My gut says LSU

So are we all just going to give CCS a pass on not offering a scholarship to a kid who was never going to come here?

You’re slipping, TBP.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
