    I'm with you. I'm spending too much time today learning about AAR, but I'm really liking this hire.

    It's actually hilarious. I'm listening to Doug Gottleib's podcast and he interviewed AAR before they played Xavier. His second coaching job was at GT under Gregory. At that job, he was pretty much an intern, simply rolling around a white board from place to place and tracking stats. Says it was a humbling experience to go from scouting and working directly with players at Murray State to his role at GT which sounds to me like a glorified student manager. 10 years later he is taking Gregory's old job...

    Rothstein is as legit as they come, so I figured this deserved its own thread. Looks like MK found his man. I know his record's not great, but I do know a local HS BB coach who thinks this is a great hire.

    Thinking more about this hire, my concern is that Brey's struggle over the past 4 or 5 seasons directly coincides with the quick shift in the college landscape to transfer portal and the NIL. Is he going to be able to adapt to turn us into a contender? I hope so.
