If you look at the first image of snapdragon stadium, those are reinforced concrete pieces supported by those large steel columns.  Just because you can see exposed steel doesn't mean it is supporting metal bleachers in the USF rendering.

This was preliminary and does not reflect a final design. Crazy overreation to a conceptual render that will change.

Is "conceptual" something we had the intern draw up based on what we told her the rest of us talked about over lunch? 'cause just the phrase "conceptual" is pretty nebulous. Just how close to the finished product does it have to be: "OK, let's say the orientation is east-west, and uh...let's say, seats around thirty-thousand, and...ok, let's add a couple of elevations. Snapdragon Stadium last year was $310 million and capacity is 35,000 also.  I think what we are getting is going to be comparable.
