Oh brother! Had no idea we had so many amateur engineers, etc. here. We have a flipping football stadium coming and a bunch of numbnuts are critiquing one computer-generated sketch and deciding it’s a failure. Not to be believed. Honestly, UNBELIEVABLE. OK, now go ahead and unload on me. Go Bulls?

You should not have been surprised

I knew it wouldn't please everyone and that's really to be expected because people have different expectations ........ but the apparently serious comparison to that piece of **** in Ovideo was a bit much.

Even if adjusted for inflation, we should be getting something that looks more like baylor's stadium, not fau.

Sure .....

Plus supply chain issues pushed the timeline back. USF imo will hit a Homerun with their OCS.

Supply issues are an issue. I'll be when the stadium opens. My uncle complains all the time how he has to  either wait for construction  materials, overspend to skip  some people, or just not take a job.  Ironically  he was one of the engineer firms to diagnose  the rust bucket. My cousins one went to usf and ucf .

I'm pretty sure you'd be excited over this:

I'm going to reserve final judgement until the April renders

Until then it looks great and I'm sure it will be amazing in person.

Maybe. Is there going to be carne asada, tequila, and a piñata?

I don't think i'm alone in being very underwhelmed by what was shown, considering the price tag.

Whatever "designer" threw this job together in Photoshop doesn't exactly inspire confidence in design capabilities.

At the firm I work at, that wouldn't have been allowed out the door, although it's a walkway with an arch...kind of difficult to dress that up anymore.  Probably threw something together quickly to get an image out for the BOT meeting.
