Last year 5 guys transferred within a week of our season ending, then Durr transferred 19 days after. So it seemed like they may have had their minds made up to leave for a while.

Our season has been over now for 11 days and nobody has entered the portal which is a good sign. Do guys not get the immediate eligibility after transferring now?

Believe if it is their first transfer they do. Have to sit out if transferring a 2nd time.

My understanding too, so the only ones who could transfer and not sit are Murphy, Chaplin, Calleja and Moss ....... and I guess the signee, Conwell, although don't know how that works.

We have some players that are simply not D1 level.  We need to do a much better job recruiting and holding onto good talent in order for us to improve.  If we don't have the ability to do that currently, then we should make the necessary adjustments to staff so that we do.

What about pulling schollys? Let them earn it if they truly want to be a college basketball player.

Recruiting has been horrible. Do our facilities still hold up compared to others? I assume they do.

Ironically no, was watching Texas Tech which was a very good game, also Auburn and Miami, Duke and Mich state were very good.  I am glad I missed that one then.

DUKE v MSU was a great game one of the best of the whole tourney and I have watched every game

I bet it's going to be tough to get a ticket to that place next season. I've seen bigger D3 gyms. What a great Cinderella story!

Just further emphasizes that there are more important things than facilities. While all the other things help getting kids to come to your school, it isn't the end all, be all. You can do more with less with the right coach and program. Or you can do way less with more.

Think I heard they have under 3k students. How the f can we not find 1 kid that can shoot 3s out of 48k students?

Besides our lack of offensive scheming during the CBG tenure, our inability to find a consistent outside shooter has truly been confounding.
