Watching these games, and I know these are the top 68 so to speak, but USF looks light years behind all of them. These teams play organized, disciplined, and good fundamentals. USF well we………… don’t

I was thinking the same thing

ISU goes from 2-22 last season to the Sweet 16 this year

Clearly different situations and resources, but turnarounds do happen in MBB

Hopefully USF is next:04-rock:

Didn’t we say the same thing after winning the CBI?

The problem is CBG and his inability to coach a cohesive offense.  That has been evident for a quite a while despite players rotating in and out. Nothing will change until he’s gone.  It’s amazing that MK doesn’t see it or maybe he does and doesn’t care.  In the mean time the fans suffer.

This…BG could not coach an offense out of a paper bag. I can already tell you how next year will go. The out of conference schedule will have mostly cup cakes, but we will still lose about three of those. We will win four conference games and limp home with a 9/12 win season. So much to look forward to.

The other thing that was evident this weekend is how many players can create their own shot, we just don’t have anyone besides Murphy that can create and he can’t shoot 3’s or FT’s and will probably leave anyways.  I have lived through the bad teams however it takes on a new meaning once you don’t have any hope, serious apathy is setting in.

That is exactly what I am seeing as well, teams are fast, made shots, athletic and entertaining . It really looked like we were at a different level altogether, we are nowhere close to playing at this level or anywhere close to it.

Did you watch the iowa st Wisconsin game  was not a high level of basketball

Ironically no, was watching Texas Tech which was a very good game, also Auburn and Miami, Duke and Mich state were very good.  I am glad I missed that one then.

We have some players that are simply not D1 level.  We need to do a much better job recruiting and holding onto good talent in order for us to improve.  If we don't have the ability to do that currently, then we should make the necessary adjustments to staff so that we do.

Last year 5 guys transferred within a week of our season ending, then Durr transferred 19 days after. So it seemed like they may have had their minds made up to leave for a while.

Our season has been over now for 11 days and nobody has entered the portal which is a good sign. Do guys not get the immediate eligibility after transferring now?
