Very underwhelming and very USF. This sucks. Doubt he does tackling drills with them, you know to show proper technique. Oh and recruits they are over the moon. Get to play for grandpa. Whatever.

Not sure, on the 247 board it sounds like he was actually getting interest from some P5 teams. Maybe Scott's offering him total control of that side of the ball to come here

I get the resume.  On paper he looks like an incredible hire.  I just don’t understand if he’s that good why a P5 program didn’t pick him up.

Lots of negativity from people who have no idea how this is going to work out.  Just because someone is "up and coming" doesn't mean a hill of beans.  They could turn out to be a big dud.  Coaches are a crap shoot.  They can be super successful at one place and not so great at another.  I'll reserve my judgment until they hit the field and we see.  If he sucks I'll be glad to admit it.  Until then, chill out you negative nellies.

EXACTLY!!  How is this guy going to recruit in FL?  

We needed someone much more dynamic with name recognition.

Seems like an "easy button" hire.  That's why it happened so quick.

I honestly don’t know anything about Shoop so I will wait and see how this plays out before I pass judgment. I can say though that I am underwhelmed by the hire.
