We have quite a few veterans here (I believe).  I know @Friscobull is an Army vet.  Let's take a moment to thank all of them and their families for putting their lives on hold in order to serve.

Thank you for your service. I was in the Army during peacetime.  I also want to recognize all the veterans, but a special shout out to those that saw action, much appreciated!  @ArmyBull@Skingraftare a couple other vets, thanks brothers.

I share your sentiments. I served as an electrician on submarines (boomer subs to be specific) during peace time. I got a great experience and was set up for success as a result.  I honestly get a little uncomfortable when recognized because even though most didn’t give the ultimate sacrifice, so many sacrificed way more than I had to. 
 

So yes - a special salute to those!

Those are awesome aircraft. Did that precede the AC130j Ghostrider? Oddly, just heard from some AF folks at Cannon AFB last week. Heard about this new aircraft. Those things are amazing. Good for you and Thanks from us.
