I always get excited when I see that a new post or two have been made to this thread. I always think “it’s happening!” And I am always disappointed.

None of us should give two violation about this thread (but it is fun)... in the end we should be striving to win the conference we are in.  When we do that, let's do it a few more times.  Then, and only then, should anyone consider us for a P5 gig again...

Normally I'd agree with you. But if they're serious about investing $300 million in a stadium they need to get into a more lucrative conference ASAP.
