we would have been just as well off letting CCS finish out his contract and avoiding the current turd.

I had the same scary thought today.  As bad as Strong was I have more faith with Strong in a close game.  What a mess.

Firing CJS? sure, I guess. But tell me we hire someone at a discount who is HUNGRY and not just some lucky assistant mope with no experience. How about we try looking at SUCCESSFUL HEAD COACHES who coach at the FCS level or higher who have shown they know WTF they are doing?

Cuz these last two turds---- YUCK--- TERRIBLE MOVES.

Hindsight is 20 20, but yes.  I feel you, bro.   This sucks huge d.

We can’t catch a break and it’s just getting hard to deal with.

Sometimes you have to create your own breaks.

We should have done this when we hired CJS. Hire someone who’s proven they can win and who has lead a team. Not a guy who was co offensive coordinator

Although it's nice to speculate on what sort of coach we should be hiring, I just question how long the list of desirable applicants may really be. If USF is just a 'ticket punch' , we may be in the "groom this assistant" business for some time to come. Not sure about the availability of miracle workers or how attractive USF would be to "a proven winner". 😠

Or hired the guy that was calling the plays (Elliot)

Start with Charlie Weis Jr.  He is very terrible OC..  Turnover on 4th down would not be happened if we did not score by our defense or kickoff return..  The 4th down play may not happen today if we scored more points..   Remember Taggart started with terrible offense until he hired someone I forgot his name.. and unleashed QF.   CW Jr gives our opponent defense too much time and be ready.  TM9 is still learning before he can call his own play or audibles.

I don’t think he would have left to come here.
