I'm with you on this. The play calling was perfect to keep their offense (our defense, really) off the field. We are capable of going deep and scoring quickly,  but it is such a liability to put the defense back out there quickly. We will need to be able to sustain drives to win.

I hope the defense wasn't gassed in the first 7 minutes. BYU's first drive was only 4 plays. 

I think we need to take the ball first from now on if we win the coin toss.

The opening drive was 75 yards in under 2 minutes .... the defense sucks.  It plays better when it sits on the bench and the offense keeps the ball for half a quarter.

Our defense got run over the first 3 drives of the game and again after our long drive to start the half.  Our defense sucks.  Period, it's not the offenses fault

All I know is, a lot of us stayed awake a lot later than we thought we would. Still an L, but at least we had a reason to watch to the end. And it was actually fun to watch. 🤘
