I think the victory is in reversing the downward recruiting trajectory in spite of coming off two of the worst years in the program's history. Doing so with a new staff that was arguably more impacted

I couldn't imagine getting beat out by New Jersey and Connecticut if you're from one of the best wine producing locations in the country and you have one of the top 6 wine distributors in the country to work with.

I like the idea of redshirting McClain due to the learning curve. But if he kills it during the spring who knows?

All things equal in the Spring, you go with the guy who has some game experience. But if the freshman lights it up, go with him. It's not like you're holding us back from anything while he learns on the job.
