I will give you the Temple Game

Johnson was the only QB in the Memphis game (which USF lost)

McCloud went for 404 yards in the UCF game with 0 turnovers, which was a pretty good day

Cincinnati has one of the top defenses in the country - that game was not close

IMO - we would have been 2-7 with Johnson under center all year

This year was definitely an anomaly (fingers crossed) and very hard to judge due to obvious issues mentioned previously. That said, IMO, I’m not very impressed by the direction of this program. I

Much deeper, these are all just by products of the disastrous decisions of the University administration when they fired CJL for motivating players

Good catch, didn't even look it up.   We may or may not have won the Temple game with him in there.

That game was on CJS and bad play calling from the coach. Once again in the cincinnati game we held them SCORELESS in the 4th quarter. Has Noah started all season he would have been in his groove by the time he played UCF and probably won that game. Either way, we would have won more than 1 game.

This is all speculation.  It's not like he didn't have his shot

I like that VPMK and CJS are interested in building a good program rather than just win some flashy games here and there and throw up billboards. 

We need to build a well oiled machine. (1) recruit local talent, (2) build a deeper base of support and donors, (3) invest strategically ie. IPF. I believe these things will better translate to consistent wins than flashy hires/portal transfers/getting hyped for ranked games.

That’s a wild jump, we were not beating Cincy no matter who was at QB.

With no depth at any position and covid . Add in no spring practice, limited in-season practice and all new coaching staff and 2020 is what we got. I think it will only be marginally better next year.  But in the end...

Just wait till next year... Again.

This was a throwaway year. See what we have and who wants to be here. The team had some talent but it was sparse and skin deep. It will take a few years to fix that.

next year I expect a 3-4 win season most likely and it won’t be until the year after that I expect this team to be fighting for a bowl game.

Scott and his staff need at least 4 years to build this, fans 3xpecting a one year turn around with coaches are living in fantasy land and if that did happen that coach would be gone from USF.

Nothing has changed with our program, fans constantly ***** about everything, yet we have one of the lowest donation support, our game fan attendance is weak at best. Yet we expect winning coaches, new OCS, new IPF, joining the B12. Laughable, none of that happens with fans and donors staying home and ******** on internet boards.
