And a guaranteed contract can't be paid off somehow?  I'm well aware that we don't have the Cash like the big time programs, but it doesn't mean smart financial people can't find ways to get things done.  Again, I'm not saying you are wrong, and we may have to keep him another year, but until I have proof or it is stated in the post-season that he is staying, then excuse me for not siding in with the in crowd (mob mentality).  Its not written in stone, nothing is impossible.

I know FSU is a different animal, but aren't they paying Taggart like $17 mil or something?

From what I heard about that situation they had donors change large donations from Facilities to Football to buy him out. It wasn't all new money.  If USF tried that the IPF wouldn't get built for another 4 years or so.

Good Point.  That kind of brings us to that old saying.....What comes first, the chicken or the egg?

It actually might not take that long if we hired a really good coach that turned us around quickly, the donor money would come quicker than usual.....but it is a big risk.  We can't afford to lose the momentum on the IPF.

Some huge decisions are coming soon for Mr. Kelly.  The choices he makes here in the next few months, could either make us good and relevant again quickly, or set us back several years.  Maybe a little over dramatic, but I don't think that is much of an exaggeration.
