What Does Strong Actually Do?

He doesn’t touch the offense. I don’t know that he does anything for the defense. I see him pace around on the sidelines but I don’t think he calls any plays. I guess he does recruit a little bit, he promises parents he will create respectable citizens which is good. But as for football, he doesn’t seem to do much. 
 

Does Strong do anything that helps the team win games except spawn camp by the transfer portal? 

Does he look at film?

Does he coach at all?

What does he do?

excellent question- it seems gets paid very well to lose games

He calls out fans, never takes direct ownership of anything football related, does really poor press conferences, walk near the player to enter the stadium on game days, game day is probably the only time he ever sees/spends time with most of them, he collects a check, he probably surfs the portal occasionally, and probably spends time curating his turtleneck collection.

i wonder if he can name 5 high schools in the county? He has to know that within an hour or so drive from campus there are a ridiculous number of talented kids who want to play ball in college,  right?

He is fiscally conservative and saves timeouts.

I know a women her son use to play at Plant and now in college, not at USF.  Said that Strong came across as better than everybody else.   

He does a good job getting transfers that is likely his best attribute as a coach here.

From what I'm hearing he is involved during the week on the defensive side of the ball.  Don't know how long that has been going on.

He does a pretty good job at dismantling our already fragile fan base, he is good at making bad hires by sticking to his sphere of influence and he is pretty adapt at pivoting away from hard hitting questions by taking the unorthodox approach of mumbling incoherent replies.
