Will CCS make it to the end of this season?

You are an optimist.  They'll average a TD every other drive on this team.  With the number of 3 and outs by our offense they'll run, what, 14 series that day.  They'll get 49 points. We won't.

I cant see too many scenarios where we take out Navy this year or more than 2 to 3 teams left on this schedule.  UNLESS there is an unforseen turnaround by this team.

With CCS in charge I just dont see it unfortuanatly

Lol I'm clearly the unbiased one here because I literally had to go look up the guy's record since he left USF.  I have no interest or feelings about him now.  You on the other hand are going to bat for him and have all these cherry picked recent stats you're able to spout off.

I merely pointed out he had trouble in years 2 and 3 at USF against P5 teams like our current staff.  That's a fact.  I also said he had success at a lower level (pre USF and post USF).  That's another fact.  If those facts motivate you to rush to his defense and try to prop him up more, then it is clearly you that is biased.  If you don't realize this after having it explicitly pointed out then I don't know what to say.

Post USF is the same level. G5 And he’s been doing better on that level than USF

ESPN seems to think they're not on the same level based on tv deals doled out (this article compares them).

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2019/03/20/ap-source-american-athletic-makes-12-year-tv-deal-with-espn/39229011/

But if you'd rather ignore that so you can knock down USF and put Skip on a pedestal, go for it.  Ignorance is bliss as they say.

Fun fact

Even if Charlie doesn't win one more game this season he will be a .500 coach here at USF if he gets fired at the end of this season.

Article in the USA Today today... “ Coaches on the Hot Seat”...#1: Charlie Strong. It’s awesome being #1 in something!

These Coaching Hot Seat articles are just lazy journalism and click-bait. All they do is look at the school record and make some assumptions. Lovie Smith has been on those lists for like 2 years. If they bothered to understand the contract situation they would understand his imminent demise has been exaggerated.

CCS has quite a bit of time.

Just thinking about this mess with the secret buyout, etc.  If the Foundation agreed to guarantee some of his buyout, then why shouldn't they put up the money and just have Athletics cover the base salary or whatever the contract calls for?  I know it all comes from the same big pot but it seems if you were hoodwinked by Harlan you should have to pay up.  I won't be taking any calls from Joel Momberg after writing this.
