I just don’t understand why KB wouldn’t go with McCloud if he runs the offense more like KB intends to run its offense it’s almost as if it’s not true or something.

I am second in command only to my owner at my company, if my owner wants me to send a specific employee to a job I'm sending that specific employee to that job. This of course is the case whether I agree with my owner's decision or not. I assume this is also the dynamic with CCS and KB, at the end of the day he needs to do what will make his boss happy even if he does not agree with the decision.

Just mention xCJL and he’ll move on to something else and forget he lost this argument yesterday.

So much for 'complete control of the offense,' then.

His job is to make the case for why he needs to put out his best chance at success; if he believed it wholeheartedly he needs to be able to have CCS believe it whole heartedly too. I have always told anyone below me to pick the best team they see fit and I will not micromanage their personnel decisions but they need to be aware that they are judged by their team and they better pick the team they think will give them a chance to win.

I don’t recall it being quite that decisive and that KB keeps rolling BB hardly makes me more convinced.

Definitely. And I’m going to claim xCJL was a ****** coach. Want my proof, he hasn’t won any games this year. That’s how I prove he was bad 10 years ago.

I heard the interview. He said both players are talking N.Y. reps in practice and Coach will make the decision on who will start. By Coach he meant head coach.

KB can call the plays but Charlie will tell him who plays.

In the TBT Twitter interview he slips that "he" (being CCS) will be making the decision.

I can’t believe this is even a debate. BB is what he is... you’ve got years of film on him. He’s not better today than he was at Alabama or when he first arrived. He has some of the worst mechanics... can’t figure out how to set his feet and is simply an average qb at best.

We’re 0-2 with one QB who is clearly playing better in live action. We don’t know exactly what we have in McCloud but I’m willing to bet he’s not going to be worse than what we saw out of the BB led offense...

It is what it is. 2019 xCJL hasn't done ****., therefore, 2007 xCJL was bad at his job and didn't win any games. And don't even begin to try and bring up things like statistics showing he won games or video of him actually winning games. Those can not be used as proof (see @puc86 p. 1-13 of this thread) to overturn my belief.
