What needs to happen

1. Fire Strong immediately.  USF is worse than a dumpster fire right now.  Getting blown out in 7 straight games.  Nothing is changing.

2.  Hire Bell as interim HC.  I'm willing to give Bell a year or 2 to see if he can get it going in the right direction.  If he does, hire him as HC.

3. Start McCloud from now on.  What have you got to lose.  We are already looking at a 2 win season.  Barnett is gone next year anyway.  We need to find out now if McCloud is the QB of the future, not next year.  Delaying that process will only delay the rebound process.

Maybe Charlie was protecting Johnny. Just kidding that would be smart. Honestly having Bell as intern would be better. He at least showed emotion and Intensity on the sideline. Chuckles looked confused and lost.

I don't see point 1 happening any time soon.

If it did, I would agree with point 2.  But you'd have to give him a multi-year deal at the end of the season if you want to keep him.  You can't have a 2 season interim coach.

I absolutely agree with point 3 in any scenario.

Of all the dumpster fires that is our team there is none greater than Bell and his woefully inept offense, if there is one person on the planet that doesn’t deserve 5 minutes of coaching our team  much less two years it’s the clown that can’t find a way to cross the 50. Maybe accomplish more than a random play generator can before you fail yourself upward.

So, it's Bell's fault that receivers were dropping wide open passes (which would have gotten them over the 50), and offensive lineman are getting blown past on every play, there is no motivation, stupid penalties are putting the offense at 1st and 20, and players are quitting.

No, those fall on Strong, not Bell.  Bell has shown, in time, that his offense can put up big numbers.

At least Bell showed a fire out there.  Chuck looked lost the whole game.

Until we know how much control Bell has over the offense it’s hard to place blame. CCS is notorious for not letting his coordinators do their job, but Bell should’ve done what he could to have them ready

I can’t blame bell for last night as we have seen the same thing from strong since game 1. I’m wondering if strong just wants to get fired so he can collect a paycheck for nothing.
