Our USF BULLS have one thing in common when we are good: a dual threat QB.

KB's spread-first O should be very compatible, and while McCloud looks pretty mobile, BB's legs are pretty good when he uses them. Just didn't look like we had designs to use him that way.

our defense gave up 6.3 yards per play

our head coach is terrible and he too is responsible for the offense.

When the offense cant stay on the field more than 10 sec, then yes, the defense will be tired and probably not do well. But I did see about 3-4 three and outs and a forced fumble. I saw better tackling and in the end, the Wisc oline was huge and they have the BEST running back in college football.

Gilbert's offense averaged less than 20 ppg to close out last season. I'm not giving Bell a pass. It was awful all the way around. Ultimately the responsibility lies with the head coach though. Gatorbull clearly is a huge Strong fan because he has talked him up every step of the way and always has excuses to deflect blame away from Strong. He is blaming this loss on Bell. Yes Bell had a hand in it but our defense gave up 49 points and 6.3 yards per play. Ultimately it is Strong who is responsible for the W and L's. That's why he gets paid $2.5M per year.

ZERO POINTS!!!!! Most of you was worried that Strong wouldnt give full reigns of the offense 2 Kerwin Bell and he DID. So how KB gets a pass and even deserves 2 get the head coaching job after a ZERO POINT performance baffles me. I still believe in KB and think we can turn things around, but 2 even mention KB as deserving of head coach is ludicrous. Let the man earn it 1st.

I would agree...seen nothing that shows he deserves to be HC.

I'm for letting this season play out and evaluate at end of season.

If offense looks much improved and defense clicking well...then kudos to Strong.  If the team looks lost and have a few wins...then somebody is likely losing a job.

no you said the loss was entirely KBs fault. I simply pointed out that our defense gave up 49 points and 6.3 yards per play and that ultimately the HC is responsible for the product on the field.

It is the straw that stirs the drink. We should NEVER be playing a Mike White or Blake Barnett...it’s not who we are.

Or forcing a mobile Daniels to stay in the pocket.

Blake could maybe work but we need quicker developing plays.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
