Were there any other FBS teams interested in him? Seemed most were down on Charlie and his staff, now Kerwin arrives and we have donors throwing money into our IPF simply because Kerwin graced us with his presence. You'd think we just landed Dabo Swinney. I guess some of that excitement is just having someone other than Gilbert running the offense

Wow. As a I joked, either none of those other schools recruiting him were terribly impressed the second time around or he REALLY wanted to avoid sitting another year. Either way, he seemed to be a good kid, but if he wasn't the answer for us, I doubt he's the answer for another semi-successful program. I still don't get the love-fest from TDS. Granted, he didn't get a long leash to prove himself, and I didn't like the way our staff handled the back and forth with BK, but it wasn't like the kid lit it up and then got yanked. The first game go 'round, I thought BK looked better, he looked shaper the second chance they both got, but there was never a point where I even remotely thought, "This kid has something."
