LOL they were 7-6 in 2011 and there was a 3 way tie for the BE. 2012 there was a 4 way tie.

the SEC offenses were hot garbage back when he was a DC.

But had to follow Schiano around holding onto his belt loop (Schiano was 4-1 against CJL with a combined score of 163-108)......

Nope, but tge great Alabama is 0-1 against them too.....i guess CJL 4-0 record against them makes him a grrat coach....imagine if he play them 12 times a year, he would be a bigger legend

Thats funny, all these 4-6 loss teams were able 2 win the Big East from 2005- 2012....yet Levitt (and CSH) STILL couldnt win the Big East.

The funny thing is the offense we are trying to run now is what we always had trouble defending back then. We could shut down pretty much anyone but try to run between the tackles on us and we just did not have the size and power to stop it (or many times even slow it down).

The biggest problem against Schiano and Edsall was they figured out how to slow down the offense and make Grothe beat himself.....  Kelly did the same while at UC.   Not only could those teams run the ball down the throat they had our offense figured the hell out....
