But when a majority of people feel the same way there might be something there.  That majority, admittedly, is only based on people that I know.  But many of them are people who make significantly higher contributions than us.

The only thing I really care about with a new AD is this....CAN YOU RAISE $...everything else is secondary. Can you make a call and get an appointment with someone to discuss the possibility of making a donation to USF athletics? Do you have the name recognition to do this? Do you have the knowledge to know when to ask or when to continue the relationship and ask later?

Ha,ha, ha...my only suggestion was in response to a question he asked me.  He was very receptive towards it and said that he was planning on doing that and expanded on it.  We chatted a number of times after that.   In my observations in the HWC, the longer he was on the job, the more aloof he became towards others in the club.  Personally, I didn’t give a flip, as I wasn’t looking to becoming buddies with him.

When I spoke with him at the Birmingham Bowl two years ago he was a complete  douche and I will never forget that. Of course I am a nobody financially but some common curtesy would have been nice. Glad he is gone and I am quiet confident we will get someone better.

As stated earlier, no opinion on Mark Harlan, at all.

However, I do hope that if he truly suppressed the generosity of people like @Skingraft, that those people respond by re-opening their thoughts about the Bulls Club (like @Skingraft).  We're just not fortunate enough to have any donors camping in different tents.  Hopefully we get a more unifying leader of the Athletic Department.
