no UCF fan thinks that but there is a good chance he is around for Season 3.....trust me he turned down UF. This is not coming from the UCF side, Bull Gator boosters talk...

Even IF true that he turned UF down, I can't ever imagine a UF BOOSTER admitting that.

They would much more likely make up some excuse why they didn't hire him, just like they do when they lose a recruit.

I've heard he was a candidate but there was no movement beyond that.....This is coming from a family that has been big time Gator boosters going back a couple generations (They used to have dinners with Jeremy Foley).   They said Chip has been their number one all along and Frost would be the next name if Chip wasn't interested.  They said they feel good about Chip but it's not a done deal, btw.  If Chip says no they WILL come after Frost....

Surely there would be more talk floating around if this is actually the case. I’ve heard he’s a high contender for the job, but I’ve also heard there are bigger names that are frontrunners over him. & No, I can’t provide a link to that because it’s all hearsay.  Until something comes out saying that Frost was offered the job but turned it down, I have a very hard time believing this is what really happened.
