Texas never played on Thursday's. At Louisville I looked on line but it would s difficult to tell. I can't remember if their classic loss to ucf (when ucf went to Fiesta Bowl) was a Thursday or Friday night. That is the only one I remember. This list only contains the regular season. 2008 Pitt L 26-21 2008 at Cincy L 24-10 2009 Cincy L 34-17 2009 Futgers L 31-0 2010 at WVU L 20-6 2011 at Pitt L 44-17 2011 WVU L 30-27 2012 Futgers L 23-13 2013 at Houston L 35-23 (should have won but a td was taken away late in the 4th off a offensive pass interference) 2015 at UCF W 44-3. So since 2008 we have won only 1 thursday night game and lost the rest. If i'm CCS I would remind the guys of what happened last season and why they had to sit at home instead of playing in the CCS an make sure they guys are ready to go thursday night and all the games the rest of the season so a repeat doesn't happen where we have to have someone knock someone else off for us to get into the title game. I'd much prefer to go 8-0 in AAC play where we are locked in instead of 7-1 and have to hope the team that beats us loses 2.

Why not just go back the extra year to make it an even Decade and include the game that started the Thursday Night Curse? Since we won our last one I think it's time to start a little winning streak. That is the only one I remember. It was a Friday night. I remember somewhat clearly because it was the night before my wedding. October 18, 2013 would have been the date of the game. Yeah, those Broadway show tix go on sale almost a year in advance sometimes. I avoid them in the fall like the plague ...
