What if Ciach Gregory starts scouting intramurals for players to fill out next seasons roster? Can we call that rock bottom too?

Only if there are more of them on the roster than recruited scholarship players ...

He better recruit the state of Florida. No way should we have as many NY players as we have Florida players(2). COA thought he needed to travel the globe to get players. more international players than from Florida.they don't mesh

FGCU wins because they recruit the state. 4 of top 5 scorers are from this state. The other one is from Georgia and is a UCF transfer.

Guys like Jimmy Baxter, Reggie Kohn. Altron Jackson, BB Waldon, Dominique Jones, Solomon Jones, Chucky Atkins, Charlie Bradley, etc.

Not saying you don't mix in other guys but our roster should be primarily from Florida.

Because that hasn't worked out for WBB.

Hey, don't knock that show, that was a damned good one.  I used to watch that with my grandparents.

I dunno about Murder She Wrote but if you start dissing the Ingalls family Trip might have an issue.

Well if Gregory follows the history of Izzo's former assistant coaches he'll be getting fired after failing to produce a successful program. Gregory has already contributed to the firing history of the Izzo coaching tree once but maybe he can be the only one to break the trend.

Although BB addressed it, there are plenty of coaches who have been fired at one program for failing to produce but produced successful programs at others. Off the top of my head, at least 2 of Izzo's tree have done that .... Gregory and Crean. What's funny is that the guy you're drooling over at UCF (and rightly so, he's done a heck of a job) was a coach that was fired for failing to produce ... and unlike Gregory, he didn't have a program where he did produce. Gregory's job here may be a wee bit tougher to turn around than UCF, though.

At risk of full board rebuke and rejection, it's lazy and inefficient. I'd rather we do the work to find athletes in the region.
