Other than him mentioning slowing down the offense I have zero concerns....

I got nothing. I think all the slow-down talk was just a nod to how quickly we score. It sounded more like he just wants to focus the defense on getting the next stop.

I heard Bull94 might have some concerns.  Maybe he'll post them all on here so we can address them.

Nope. Gotta give the dude a few weeks at least to (1) move to Tampa and (2) get his feet wet.

My only concern is that while I believe Strong will connect with the players (here & recruits), he seems a lot less loose than Taggart, and some may not love that.  Hopefully Strong will have fun with the players, while tightening up the defense.

As mentioned above, we likely only have 5-6 signing left *(and I suspect we'll see 3-4 very good pick up late, either by fence straddlers or poaching.

Will be interesting to see how this team performs in the bowl game, with Strong there and some coaches possibly auditioning for their jobs.

The conference took 5 days after hire?  I had Taggart had only one day to go to Oregon.

Also, I think we  lost 2 or 3 rerecruit and has CSS made them re-commit yet?

Taggart also has 4 days between getting hired and the dead period it was much more important for him to get going with Oregon faster than it was for Strong, again he had like 12 hours before the dead period at which time he called his commits.

We did lose 2 commits and I don't know if Strong will take them back if they try. With those 2 defections we still only have 5 or 6 scholarships left. There is a whole forum on this board that can give you the recruiting answers you are seeking.

Im sorry guys but Im not sold.

:/

When I was a Gators fan before attending USF he never really convinced me as the DCoordinator and got blown out the only game he was head coach. It was more of Meyers offense rather than the defense that won those titles.

His record at Texas is an eyesore and you can argue that he won at Louisville because of his NFL caliber QB.

Granted he did recruit that QB to play for him at Louisville so theres that.

I dont know. His presser gave me the feeling that he took the job for the money.

I think we wouldve been better off with a HUNGRY head coach like postWKUera CWT. I just dont see it in CCS. Hope im wrong.

:/

Go bulls.
