Asiantii Woulard no longer with USF

In what amounted to a surreal mic-drop moment, Bulls coach Willie Taggart ended his weekly press conference Tuesday by announcing third-string QB Asiantii Woulard no longer is with the team.

Taggart didn't elaborate, but school spokesman Brian Siegrist said Woulard, who transferred last summer from UCLA, will remain in classes for the time being.

Woulard's departure represents the latest chapter in a mostly futile collegiate odyssey for the Winter Park High alumnus, once deemed the nation's top dual-threat quarterback by ESPN. In three-plus seasons, including two at UCLA, Woulard has not taken a snap in a college game

We will be fine with Kean and Olakadun (I'm sure I butchered that).

i was excited about Woulard coming here, but Flowers locked down the position last year, and it says a lot that Kean took the second string job.

He seems to have all of the physical attributes of a great college QB but just can't put it together I guess.

If he really wants to play football, he should transfer to a FCS school.  If not, he stays and gets a good education before he enters the next chapter in his life.

Best of luck, either way.

Best quote " Woulard has not taken a snap in a college game.".  If Woulrd had come here originally maybe Willie woud have tried to keep his West Coast offense longer and we would not have seen the "Gulf Coast"

Really odd. He was only a sophomore too so had lots of eligibility left.

No doubt about it. You can tell from his tweets he's had a lot weighing on him. Maybe this is just a way to lower stress for the time being, until he can make up his mind where he wants to go from here. Humble kid, good attitude, so I really hope he's blessed whatever he decides.
